These Terms & Conditions govern use of this website (sae-reev.vercel.app) and registration for REEV SAEINDIA 4.0 ("REEV", "the event"), organised by the SAEINDIA Bengaluru Section.

Eligibility & registration

Registration is open to students, faculty, judges, mentors and volunteers as described on the Register page. Information submitted during registration (college/institution, team details, contact details, faculty advisor details, etc.) must be accurate and complete. We may verify or ask you to correct submitted details.

Fees & payment

Team registration and Individual registration carry a fee, shown on the Register page and confirmed again on the Razorpay payment screen before you pay. Payments are processed by Razorpay, a third-party payment gateway; we never see or store your card, UPI, or bank details. A registration is only confirmed once payment is verified.

Conduct

Participants are expected to conduct themselves professionally at all technical sessions, virtual reviews and on-ground finals, and to follow the safety and technical rules communicated for that edition. We reserve the right to disqualify a team or individual for unsafe conduct, unsporting behaviour, or providing false information.

Intellectual property

Site content, branding, and the REEV name/logo belong to the SAEINDIA Bengaluru Section. Designs and work produced by teams for their vehicles remain the participating team's own intellectual property, except where otherwise agreed in the event rulebook.

Changes to the event

Dates, venues, formats and technical requirements may change between seasons or, in limited circumstances, during a season, and will be communicated via the site, registered email, or the announcement channels shared with registered teams.

Limitation of liability

Participation in on-ground activities (vehicle builds, dynamic runs, finals-day events) carries inherent physical risk. Participants and their institutions are responsible for their own safety equipment and insurance as specified in the technical rulebook. SAEINDIA Bengaluru Section is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from participation.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the courts in Bengaluru, Karnataka.
