This Privacy Policy explains what information REEV SAEINDIA collects through this website and how it is used.

What we collect

• Registration details you submit: name, email, phone, college/institution, team name and roster, faculty advisor details, organisation and area of expertise (for judges/mentors/SMEs), and any notes you add.
• Payment confirmation data from Razorpay (order ID, payment ID, signature, amount) for team and individual registrations — we never receive or store your card, UPI, or bank account details; Razorpay handles that directly.
• Basic technical data any website receives (browser type, pages visited) if analytics is enabled, without identifying you personally.

How we use it

To process and confirm your registration, verify payment, communicate event updates (technical sessions, schedule changes, results), and maintain an internal record of registrations and payments for the season.

Who we share it with

Razorpay, solely to process payment. We do not sell or rent your information to third parties. Sponsor/partner organisations do not receive your personal contact details unless you separately opt in (e.g., applying to a sponsor-run opportunity).

Where it's stored

Registration data is stored in our backend database, access-locked so that only our registration system and authenticated admins can read or write it.

Your rights

You can ask us to correct or delete your registration data at any time by writing to manager@saeibs.org. We'll action reasonable requests unless we're required to keep a record (e.g., a completed payment) for legal/accounting reasons.

Cookies & local storage

The public site does not use tracking or advertising cookies. The admin dashboard uses your browser's session storage only to keep you signed in until you close the browser — nothing is shared externally.

Changes

We may update this policy as the site evolves; the "last updated" date above will change accordingly.
